“That’s disgusting,” said Michael LaRosa, Jill Biden’s press secretary. “@RCamposDuffy i @FoxNews get to know each other better. They can do better and their viewers deserve it. I hope you apologize to the First Lady and leave this kind of talk to the [trash] where it belongs. ”
Campos-Duffy said the most “patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was to tell her husband to love her husband and not let him run in that state of mind she’s in.”
Campos-Duffy, who joined Fox News in June as the host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” is married to the former rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.).
President Biden’s handling of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan has sparked a bipartisan reaction and has led some on the political right to question his suitability for office.
But Campos-Duffy’s criticism of Jill Biden and her attacks on President Biden’s mood fell outside most of the Republican Party’s criticism, especially the remarks about the first lady.
