Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness got an official presentation image and some news for the upcoming film. Netflix is offering fans a new CG anime series to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. With Resident Evil VILLAGE which will arrive later this year, has already been a big year for fans of the horror of survival, which only adds to the excitement. People who enjoyed the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be delighted to learn that Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello will once again be Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield in the film. Therefore, this film will have a big revelation in AnimeJapan 2021, as the panel will discuss the project on March 27th. Quebec manages the 3DCG animation production, while TMS Entertainment handles the main functions of the producer. All of this will no doubt be a big draw for the platform.

When it comes to Resident Evil, plus Leon and Claire are usually a Capcom winning formula. Even more appealing is that it seems to be an original adventure rather than retelling one of the games. Netflix announced a new synopsis of the film:
In 2006, traces of inadequate access to secret presidential files were found on the White House network. U.S. Federal Agent Leon S. Kennedy is among the group invited to the White House to investigate the incident, but when the lights suddenly go out, Leon and the SWAT team are forced to shoot down a horde of mysterious zombies. Meanwhile, TerraSave staff member Claire Redfield finds a mysterious image drawn by a young woman in a country she visited, while supporting refugees. Chased by this cartoon, which appears to be the victim of a viral infection, Claire begins her own investigation.
The next morning, Claire visits the White House to request the construction of a care facility. There, he has a chance to reunite with Leon and takes the opportunity to show him the boy’s drawing. Leon seems to notice some sort of connection between the zombie outbreak in the White House and the strange drawing, but he tells Claire that there is no relationship and leaves. Over time, these two outbreaks of zombies in distant lands lead to events that shake the nation to its core.
