Aside from the next release Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker saga, another title from a very distant galaxy that is on its way to Nintendo’s hybrid system is Star Wars: Hunters.
If you don’t remember this one, it’s a competitive “free download” third-person shooter that FarmVille developer Zynga and Lucasfilm created and was originally unveiled earlier this year in February.
The trailer was nothing more than a movie, but now, in a new update, the first images of the game (specifically the mobile version) have apparently been leaked. Here’s a look, courtesy of the Star Wars: Hunters News Twitter account, which also points out how a smooth launch will take place soon:
According to some PR, Hunters will take place after the fall of the Galactic Empire and is inspired by the iconic local Star Wars. You’ll be able to take control of daring bounty hunters, Rebellion heroes, Imperial Storm troops and more at a fast and visually stunning pace.
This is what Lucasfilm Games vice president Douglas Reilly said about Star Wars Hunters when it was first revealed:
“Star Wars: Hunters is inspired by the classic Star Wars stories and scenarios, but with a different look than anything we’ve done before. We are thrilled to present this tremendously creative character cast to our Nintendo Switch fans, where they can join their friends in exciting battles at home or on the go. ”
Star Wars: Hunters is scheduled to hit Switch and mobile later this year. Would you be interested in a game like this? Tell us below.
