Apple on Monday added more than two dozen new video training sessions to Fitness +, continuing the recent trend of building the catalog of its fledgling weekly subscription service.
Fitness + was launched on December 14, 2020 and is designed to help Apple Watch owners stay fit through a series of guided workouts available in various workout categories. As you follow Fitness + routines, the Apple Watch tracks your movement, workout duration, calories burned, heart rate, and more, as well as other workouts.
In the latest motivational introductory video, coach Bakari presents the new workouts like this:
Here at Fitness + more than two dozen workouts have just dropped, like the 30-minute Sam treadmill that challenges your endurance, whether you’re walking or running. For a workout that doesn’t need any equipment, I teach a 10-minute stroke with four total body movements. Each movement is inspired by different sports such as basketball and football, which combine perfectly with Waka Flocka Flame’s song “No Hands”. This is the novelty of Fitness + to help you close your rings. Here we go!
In total, Apple has added 26 new Fitness + workouts that cover all video categories, which include cycling, strength, yoga, HIIT, core, dance, treadmill, refreshment and rowing. This brings the total number of workouts in the Fitness + catalog to 293 so far.
Fitness + costs $ 9.99 per month or $ 79.99 per year, which is broken down to $ 6.67 per month. For this price, a maximum of six family members can use the Fitness + service. Fitness + is also included in the Apple One Premier package, which is priced at $ 29.99 per month and also offers Apple Music, Apple TV +, Apple Arcade, Apple News + and 2 TB of iCloud storage.
