The New Orleans Saints have had five positive offensive coaches in the COVID-19 test, questioning their situation for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
However, a team source said, “We will be fine.”
Saints head coach Sean Payton said over the summer that the team’s technical staff and staff were 100% vaccinated.
The Saints play Sunday at 1 pm ET at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte after playing their first game of Week 1 at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville after being displaced due to Hurricane Ida. They beat the Green Bay Packers 38-3.
The team is practicing at the TCU facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
