FKA branches have thanked Xia for showing “unity” amid allegations that her ex-boyfriend Shia LaBeouf abused her.
FKA Branches, 32, has filed a lawsuit against Lah Angeles High Court in Los Angeles, 34, alleging that her real name, Tahlia Debret Barnett, was abused physically, mentally and emotionally during their relationship in 2018.
On Saturday, Xia took to Twitter to share that she also had a bad experience with LaBeouf, prompting Bornett to release a response thanking the 44-year-old “Chandelier” singer for speaking out in his favor.
“Sorry – this reinforces why I had to share my experience in public. We need to support each other <3," She wrote.

In A follow-up tweet, He added: “I love you again — you are an inspiration and thank you all for your love and unity <3"
The news came in response to Xia’s accusation that LaBeouf had linked himself to a “prostitution” relationship in the past.
“Shia, a pathological liar, linked me to a brothel claiming I was single.” Xia shared. “I hope he is very sick and has compassion on him and his victims. Know that if you love yourself – be safe, stay away.”
He added: “And I love you @FKAtwigs This is so brave, I’m so proud of you.”

Although Xia did not elaborate on the nature of their relationship, he appeared in his 2015 music video for the song “Re Heart”. At the time, he was dating Mia Goth.

LaBeouf has not yet publicly responded to Bornett’s lawsuit, which centered on the 2019 incident in which Barnett Lafayette traveled as a passenger in a “irresponsibly” operated car. According to the report, singer-songwriter Lafouf was accused of “removing his seat belt and threatening to cause an accident if he did not express his love for her.”
Barnett accused LaBeouf of behaving angrily towards her throughout the trip, at one point, the report continued, “waking her up at midnight and suffocating her.”

In a statement to Fox News, Bornett’s lawyer, Brian Friedman, said: “Shia Lafouf has abused Ms. Barnett, Ms. Poe and others. Psychological treatment.
