While there are still doses of Moderna and Pfizer, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Wednesday that the supply of vaccines in Florida is flattening, as the state no longer increases enormously with each supply.
Right now, the state is not receiving any new shipments of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Governor DeSantis said it could be weeks before Florida receives more shots from J&J.
“We have no more J&J for the foreseeable future. For the next two or three weeks we don’t expect any new J&J, and I don’t know what the problem is, I hope we get there sooner. “
Governor DeSantis urges Floridians not to resist the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. He said go ahead and get the shot you have at your disposal.
He said it is possible that people who get the vaccine can now get both vaccines from the other types of vaccines before the J&J vaccine is available again in Florida.
