Forget Meghan vs. Kate … Grandma Carole has enough on her hands with Pippa Middleton’s new baby

  • Grandma Carole was happy to lend a hand after the birth of Pippa’s daughter
  • She described herself as a practical babysitter with her grandchildren in an interview
  • Carole, 66, was taken to West London’s six-bedroom, £ 17m bedroom.

No doubt Carole Middleton has already lent her shoulder to cry for her eldest daughter after Meghan’s injury in this interview.

But last week it was the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Pippa Middleton, who needed her mother’s help.

Weighing in at 6 pounds and 7 oz, Grace is her second child with her husband, James Matthews, 45.

Carole, who is believed to be part of Pippa’s Covid support bubble, arrived at the couple’s six-bedroom West London home on £ 17m on Thursday afternoon.

After flying over the new arrival, he took care of two-year-old Arthur, while 37-year-old Pippa and James went out with Grace and her nanny.

For Carole, it may have been a good relief to be at the center of such a happy event after the unpleasant consequences of the interview between Harry and Meghan to Oprah Winfrey.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping UK magazine earlier this year, she described herself as “hand in hand” with her grandchildren.

“I want to run through the hills, climb trees and go through the playground tunnel,” he said. “Whenever I can, that’s what I’ll do. I cook with them, I dance, we ride bikes.

He added: “I’m not someone who sits on the couch for a long time. I have a lot of energy.

Pippa and James, who were married in May 2017, are believed to have paid tribute to their respective families through the election of Elizabeth and Jane as their daughter’s middle names.

Elizabeth is Carole and Kate’s middle name, while James’ mother is named Jane.
