Forget the MacBook Pro, Apple leaks reveal bigger plans

With the launch of Apple to unveil two new MacBook Pros, many will be waiting to get a good deal on the current MacBook Pro, as the latest and most important site in the Apple Store. Think about it again, because the latest leaks show that there is something better in store.

While the upcoming MacBook Pro M1X may be more expensive than the current MacBook Pro, it will offer much more value for money, longevity, and flexibility than the current high-end Apple Silicon laptop.

The first is screen size. This is a fairly simple argument. Right now I would be buying a 13-inch MacBook Pro with a significant amount of bezel on the screen. Sure it does the job, but compare it to the Windows-powered competition, especially at the price of $ 1299 and up, and the 13-inch design looks tired and outdated.

The new design of the MacBook pro is expected to exceed this screen size by up to 14 inches (i.e., a win) and keep the package approximately the same size by reducing the bezels to fit the larger screen (number winner two).

Along with the keyboard, the screen is a key part of any laptop. You want as much information as possible in a convenient format. It will be better if you wait for the new MacBook Pro.

It is also worth noting that the new screen of the MacBook Pro will set aside the current LED screen in favor of miniLED screens, which will offer a wider range of more vivid colors, better blacks and deeper on the screen and all with a demand of less power to the battery. Not only will you get a bigger screen if you wait, but you’ll get a better-looking screen.

Then you have the silicon. The current MacBook Pro comes with the M1 chip system, the first to use Apple Silicon. Taking advantage of the close integration between the ARM-based chipset, Apple’s own hardware, and chip-specific software design, Apple could take much more advantage of the M1’s performance than comparable Intel Macs.

Still, the M1 system chip will always be the first-generation product and the slowest Apple Silicon of any MacBook Pro. With a year of public feedback on the software and the necessary changes in the design of the already feedback chip, it is clear that the allegedly named M1X will offer much more performance. It should also allow for more storage and memory (though you won’t be able to expand this after-sales service).

This offers a lot of experience and upgrades that the M1X can offer. If you wait, you will get a better system on the chip with better integration.

Finally, you have a number of smaller features that, on their own, are relatively small quality of life upgrades. Once stacked with each other (above the main points of screen size, screen technology, and chip set), the argument for not buying the MacBook Pro in front of you is strong.

You have the FaceTime webcam update, which will eventually replace the anemic 720p webcam with which all MacBook users have been placed since the increase in work from home; the MacBook Pro M1X is expected to increase the number of Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C to four along with an HDMI output; and the missing SD card reader is likely to appear.

All this, just to wait.

And not just those waiting shouldn’t consider the current MacBook Pro M1. While there is a slight increase in performance over the MacBook Air, when the M1X MacBook Pro laptops arrive, those looking for more laptop power will have a much better option. The MacBook Air has the same features as the MacBook Pro M1, but at a much lower price. Those who need more energy and an improved set of features will have the new hardware.

You really don’t need to have the MacBook Pro M1 after the next release.
