Former baseball star throws race with millionaire woman who kills two children in exclusive Los Angeles neighborhood

The case of two children fatally run over by a woman in the exclusive community of Westlake Village, In the Los Angeles area, has taken a new turn when it is reported that a former baseball star player was involved in the tragedy.

Scott Erickson, Winner of 142 games in 15 seasons in the Major Leagues, has been charged in connection with the Sept. 29 crash on the streets of Westlake Village.

Tonight, Rebecca Grossman hit with her luxurious Mercedes-Benz Mark and Jacob Iskander, 11 and 9 years old, Respectively, when children were crossing a pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Triumph Canyon Road and Saddle Mountain. The parents managed to protect two other of their children who had not moved too far.

It was then suspected that Grossman, who fled, was “racing” with another driver.

Grossman, an influential woman in the region and a relative of prominent burn medical specialists, was released on $ 2 million bail.

The Los Angeles County prosecutor’s office alleges that Erickson, who played for teams such as the Minnesota, Baltimore, LA Dodgers and NY Yankees, was the person with whom Grossman held the street race.

Erickson, 51, was charged with reckless driving and is due to appear in court on March 16th.

Grossman was charged with vehicular homicide and also more for escaping the scene (hit and run). She still faces a 34-year life sentence if found guilty.
