Former Cuomo Gov. Sandra Lee offered words of “healing” to her social media followers just hours after a second woman made the allegations of sexual harassment public in a matter of days.

The post came hours after the New York Times revealed that Cuomo’s former aide, Charlotte Bennet, 25, accused the 63-year-old governor of asking him inappropriate personal questions at work, telling him he was open to relationships with women. at twenty and make her feel like he wants to go out with her.
The allegations came days after another former aide, Lindsey Boylan, publicly accused the governor of trying to kiss her in the mouth at his New York City office in 2018. He also said he suggested that play strip poker on an official state jet flight in October 2017.
Bennett said the interactions happened at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, months after his fall 2019 breakup with Lee, with whom he dated for 14 years.
Lee, 54, said in April that he was still in daily contact with the governor.
“He’s still my boyfriend,” he told the Today program. “None of us, as far as I know, have had any appointments.”
About the same time, supposedly, Cuomo came to Bennett, who grew up in Westchester County and is about the same age as Cuomo’s daughters.
Bennett told the Times that the governor revealed to her at a June meeting at his Albany office that he was alone and “can’t even hug anyone,” before pressuring her about who he last hugged.
Cuomo responded to allegations made by Bennett in a statement Saturday as requests for an investigation into the governor’s conduct were extended.
“I never advanced towards Mrs. Bennett nor did I intend to act in any way that was inappropriate,” Cuomo said. “The last thing I ever wanted was to make her feel any of the things that are being reported.”
