Fans who had tickets for the performance on Wednesday night say they were in line in the rain waiting for them to let them into the theater. Later, the ushers told them that the program had been canceled.
“We were very disappointed because we thought people were originally joking when they said it was canceled, but it turns out to be true,” said Abigail Flowers, who came from Auburn, Alabama, to see the show.
For many fans, they had been waiting almost two years for the performance. These shows have already been rescheduled from 2020 dates which were paused due to the pandemic.
“Well, I bought the ticket two years ago, and it’s really annoying that they canceled the event like not half an hour before,” said Madison Jajczyk, who drove from South Carolina for the show.

If they are unable to attend the rescheduled performance, there will be refunds and changes.
