The fiercest competition on the planet, Exatlón United States, returned to the big Telemundo with a new season that premiered on Tuesday, January 26. With more drama, euphoria, agony and excitement, come 24 athletes willing to give it their all in a tough showdown to win over a million dollars in prizes. This season, the Celebrity Team (Red Team) and the Contender Team (Blue Team) are made up of a combination of new entrants who come in search of glory alongside some contestants returning for a second chance at take the title. The intense family reality will feature amazing circuits that will test the physical and mental abilities of the participants in the biggest challenge of their lives. In this fifth edition, Frederik Oldenburg will be welcomed as the driver, who will be accompanied by sports commentator Marisela “Chelly” Cantú.
12 new athletes, and 12 warriors returning after glory
The fifth season of Exatlon USA will feature 24 athletes, 12 completely new warriors, and 12 returning for a rematch that could seal their fate. The six athletes returning to the Contendants Team are: Kelvin Renteria, Rafa “El Brujo” Soriano, Octavio “Tavo” González, Denisse “La Pantera” Novoa, Gaba De la Mar and Raquel Becker.
Team Famosos, meanwhile, returns: Mack Roesch, Jacobo García, Norma Palafox, Nicole Regnier, Eric Alejandro and Brenda Castro.
Frank Beltre: A football champion
This professional football player, who is part of the new faces of the fifth season, is 30 years old and was born in Azua, Dominican Republic, got a scholarship to play football at Towson University. After graduating, he signed with the San Diego Chargers NFL team and later with the Oakland Raiders. Today he is a free agent.
His “4 Women”
Frank since arriving in the arenas of Exatlon USA, has confessed to being a very familiar man, claiming to have “4 women”
“I always say I have 4 wives, but yours you have to wait for the why of my 4 wives, they are my two sisters, my mother and my niece.”
