Fred Piccolo, Ron DeSantis Flack, who posted a gross commentary on COVID, resigns

Fred Piccolo, a spokesman for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, has resigned after posting a much-criticized Twitter post that caused 20,000 coronavirus deaths in Florida. Piccolo deleted his Twitter account after writing the discouraged Christmas Eve post, which read: “I wonder from 99% [of] Should covid patients survive should they not have 99 photos of survivors for each death? Otherwise, just try to create a narrative that isn’t real. ”On Thursday, he stated that he had planned his resignation before the fury of the tweet and that he was returning to the state Department of Education. Piccolo deleted his Twitter account, claiming he had already been planning to do so.
