Lebanon, Tennessee (WTVF) – Freezing rain and sleet have caused dangerous travel conditions through Tennessee and caused ice-related crashes.
A collision with several vehicles blocked the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 near Spence Lane for about two hours, but has since been cleared.

Earlier in the day, a portion of the 40 West Interstate Highway was closed in Wilson County after a tractor trailer was a knife, just east of Lebanon. The westbound lanes were closed for about 90 minutes, but have since reopened.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said that although the interstate has reopened, road conditions remain “icy.”
Great work from everyone involved, I-40 WB at 243 MM has reopened to all traffic. It’s still ice cream !!!
