An anti-monarchy group has been outraged by the release of a new video titled “It’s Time” the day it was announced that Prince Philip had been taken to hospital.
Republic posted the “trailer” on its YouTube page with photos of the queen, Prince Charles and Prince Andrew.
The one-minute video, which has been viewed more than 400 times, calls on the British to join the movement to wipe out the Royals.
The day came when it was announced that the Duke of Edinburgh had been taken to London Hospital after feeling unwell and is expected to remain for a few days.
Real commentators called the video “insipid,” “bad weather,” with “bad stuff and bad ideas.”

A message with the clip read: “In a country where royalty reign, a group will challenge the odds of abolishing the monarchy. A campaign will become a movement. It’s time.”
It included images of Prince Andrew during his interview with Newsnight in 2019, clashes of Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018 and images of the queen.
It ended with a trailer page stating that the images were “starring the British people”.
Prince Philip, 99, was taken to King Edward VII of Marylebone’s private hospital on Tuesday night as a “precautionary measure” on the advice of his doctor.
The duke was said to be in a “good mood” and entered the hospital unassisted after being driven there by car.
The decision to admit him was made with “great caution” and the 94-year-old queen remained at Windsor Castle and continued in her duties.
His illness is unrelated to Covid and comes after it was announced on January 9 that the royal couple had received the first doses of the vaccine due to their old age.

Police officers were on guard in front of London’s private hospital on Wednesday, where Prince Philip is being held.
Later reinforcements were seen heading towards the main entrance as the TV cameras began to arrive.
The Duke will celebrate his 100th birthday on June 10, at the same time as Prince Harry and Meghan are expecting their second child.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London on Tuesday evening.
“The Duke’s admission is a precautionary measure, on the advice of His Royal Highness’s doctor, after feeling unwell. The Duke is expected to remain in the hospital for a few days of observation and rest.”
Boris Johnson led the nation by sending his best wishes to the Duke for a speedy recovery.
A spokesman for No. 10 said: “The Prime Minister sends his best wishes to the Duke of Edinburgh, while he is undergoing a few days off in hospital.”
Republic, a London-based organization campaigning to replace the monarchy with an elected head of state, has been asked to comment.
