Future porch pirates get stuck in the snow after an attempted robbery in Mississauga, Ont.

TORONTO – A Brampton, Ont. the man faces charges after he was caught on Monday stealing a package from a house and then getting trapped in the snow while trying to flee the scene.

It happened in Mississauga at approximately 2:40 p.m. in the Churchill Meadows and Erin Center Boulevard area, Peel regional police told CTV News Toronto.

You can then see the man getting in and out of the car trying to clear the snow and releasing his front wheels to no avail as the camera keeps rolling.

Eventually, police arrived and arrested the man.

He has been charged with a felony of fraud of less than $ 5,000 and another of theft of less than $ 5,000.

Peel police said he was released on parole and will appear in court later.
