Rapper G-Eazy was charged with assault on Monday after a fight at the nightclub that left him on a stage that needed stitches in his head.
Page six exclusively reported that the “No Limit” rapper’s crew clashed with another group of partygoers at the Standard Hotel in the early hours of Friday, while the Fashion Week festivities made the elegant clubs of the hotels, Le Bain and the Boom Boom Room.
Sources told us that around 12:40 a.m. “something triggered someone” and in the next melee someone from the G-Eazy crew ended up hitting Socialist Daniel Chetrit, who is the promoter’s son real estate Joseph Chetrit and among his famous friends is Kendall. Jenner and Bella Hadid: on the head with a bottle.
Police explain on page six that G-Eazy was “charged with assault after a 29-year-old man and a 32-year-old man reported the defendant’s attack.” It is unclear if anyone else was charged after the incident or if Chetrit was one of the people who allegedly assaulted G-Eazy.
The rapper was arrested Monday at 5:30 p.m. while celebrities from across the city were preparing for the Met Gala, and received an appearance ticket at the counter. He will appear before a judge later.
Police say on page six that none of the people who allegedly punched her were hospitalized.
Several sources tell us that Chetrit, whose family briefly owned the iconic Chelsea Hotel and who recently unloaded a Miami Beach hotel for $ 42 million, had to put points in his head.
G-Eazy representatives did not respond to the request for comment. We tried to reach out to Chetrit’s family for comment, but we knew nothing.
It’s not G-Eazy’s first arrest. In May 2018 he was picked up in Stockholm for assault after punching a security guard and found with approximately 1.5 ounces of cocaine.
The standard, which attracts numerous A and heavyweight listings, was also the scene of the famous 2014 Jay-Z and Solange Knowles elevator incident.
