Los Angeles. Like his Wonder Woman character, Gal Gadot it has a mission: to create a movement to promote goodness in the world.
The “Wonder Woman” star is working behind the scenes as the executive producer of “Impact,” a series of short documentaries that premieres April 19 on the National Geographic channel.
The six-part series features women from Brazil, Puerto Rico, and other places who overcome obstacles and do extraordinary things. They are women living in communities affected by violence, poverty, discrimination and oppression.
“I keep calling my women wonderful because they are real heroines”The 35-year-old Israeli actress said in a video call on Tuesday. “I go to the set and put on my dress and fight like fiction. But they’re actually there on the spot, sweating and doing everything they can to make the world a better place.”
Gadot has played the Wonder Woman since 2016, including in the sequel “Wonder Woman 1984” (“Wonder Woman 1884”) from last year. He said he began to understand his influence and responsibility in 2017, when he starred in the first film dedicated to his character.
“My creed is very similar to the Wonder Woman creed”, Said Gadot. “I’m all love and positivism and peace. It fit me really well.”
