And Gal Gadot has revealed that to play the character was inspired by Princess Diana of the British royal family.
The 35-year-old actress explained Vanity Fair that the “compassion” of the late Princess of Wales influenced how she approached the role.

Gal served at the magazine’s Cocktail Hour Live! program: “I remember seeing a documentary about Princess Diana, like the real royal, English Princess Diana.”
She recalled that “there was a part where they say she was always full of compassion and always cared about people.”
A bell rang in Cape Wales and she decided, “This should be the Wonder Woman we have, and she fully communicates what you just mentioned about compassion because you know, I wanted to portray a character that people will do, already you know, it will be inspired by, but it will also be able to relate to it ”.
While Princess Diana was married to Prince Charles, she became known for the displays of tenderness that spread, such as hugging a child with AIDS.
