In late 2019, Microsoft announced 10 of them Final Fantasy the games would arrive at Game Pass the following year. In early 2021, most are still missing, though Microsoft says they will get there.
During the X019 live broadcast event in London, near the end of 2019, Microsoft announced lots of great games will arrive in its Netflix Game Pass-like subscription library. These new games, which included everyone Final Fantasy of VII a XV (excluding MMOs), it was said that “this holiday and 2020” would come. By now, almost 14 months later, only Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, i XV have been added. Reddit is full of threads of the players wondering when the rest will finally arrive. It’s a real nuisance considering Final Fantasy XIII it looks spectacular in the latest hardware, and its derivations are ripe for rediscovery.

Square Enix has spent the last few years remastering some of its old ones Final Fantasy games and their portability to new platforms. Final Fantasy X, first released on the PS2 in 2001, was remastered for PS3 and Vita in 2013 and finally brought to Xbox and Nintendo Switch in early 2019. More recently, Square released an excellent remaster of Final Fantasy XII.
While both can be purchased on Xbox One and the X / S series, neither is yet in Game Pass. This is easy to understand as they are still in high demand and also play very well on the switch. After a year of waiting to play them on Game Pass, I almost decided to buy them for the third time from Nintendo during the holidays. I gave in, though, and played again Final Fantasy X in my Vita. I hope you still don’t face this same puzzle next Christmas.
