GameStop has announced a replacement for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Nintendo Switch, which will be released tomorrow. For now, when this new hardware material is not specifically disclosed, it does not appear to be changing. In fact, the retailer doesn’t even mention what customers need to be told, but warns that it will simply alert customers through social media when actions are active. Not only are there little details about when the shares will be released, but it is unclear whether they will be released all at once. If you do, be prepared for website issues.
Also, it looks like the actions will be limited to packages. In other words, if you are hoping to buy only PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or Nintendo Switch and only hardware, this stock may not be right for you.
What is also not disclosed is the amount of stock that is there. The retailer notes that there will be a “limited number” of each hardware, but that’s what it says every time.
“Up”: A limited number of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X console packages S and Nintendo Switch will be available tomorrow at https://t.co/CYyCoH1dWE.

Whatever happens, it is safe to bet that the shares will disappear in a matter of minutes. Not only has it been the case for all GameStop replacements, but for all replacements for all retailers. Demand for all of these products is not only extremely high, especially for the PS5, but climbers and resellers continue to steal stocks with robots capable of placing thousands of orders in minutes. While it seems that the reign of terror of scalpers may come to an end, right now, they are still in all replacements for PS5 and Xbox Series X. They shouldn’t pose any problem with the Nintendo Switch, but the demand too is high for this piece of hardware, which is why it has not been available for weeks.
As noted, outstanding details are currently missing before tomorrow’s replacement. If GameStop provides more information, we’ll be sure to update the story. In the meantime, for more coverage on all games, click here.
