An investigation by the digital newspaper El Far revealed that the director of Penitentiary Centers entered maximum security penitentiaries with gang leaders to negotiate benefits in favor of gangs.
Deputy Johnny Wright Sol, of the Our Time party, emphasized that the journalistic investigation of the digital newspaper El Far reveals what has been suspected for some time, that the government has negotiated with the gangs benefits in favor of these groups criminals in exchange for reflecting a drop in the homicide rate.
