Genshin impact Developer miHoYo has shared a detailed preview of the upcoming version 1.2 update to be released later this week on December 23rd. This includes Dragonspine’s new location on the map, more information about Albedo’s new character, and information about the named event and how to access it.
The new Dragonspine area, for example, includes an old city under the ice called Appropriate Buried City, a bioluminescent underground space called Starglow Cavern, and an area stained by the core of a black dragon called Wyrmrest Valley. It should also be noted that the new update includes extremely cold areas, which is a new gameplay mechanic that players will need to navigate carefully.

The event called “The Plaster Prince and the Dragon” requires players to access Adventure’s rank 20 and complete the Archon mission “For a Tearless Tomorrow,” in addition to Albedo’s storyline , “Princeps Cretaceus Chapter,” to access it. The event is expected to run until January 12th. “If it weren’t for Sacarosa, no one would have known that Albedo hides a great secret, which involves a mysterious unknown sword and a mountain buried in ice for millennia.” Genshin impact says of the event.
