In case you haven’t swum with streaming service subscriptions yet, Hulu is offering you one $ 2 monthly plan with student discount. However, keep in mind that if you have spent a lot of time after college and have an .edu email address, it will not be enough to qualify you as a “student”; in reality attend school.
The new student plan
The ad plan offers two simultaneous streams that allow you to view on-demand content, including original programming, such as The maid’s story i Palm Springs, as well as content from ABC, NBC, Fox, Bravo, USA Network, FXX, and other channels. They are $ 4 cheaper a month than you would normally get with the plan. The offer, which currently it has no end date; it will certainly attract more users to the menu than can later be sold at the most expensive live tv service plan.
If you are one current subscriber while also enrolled in a U.S. Title IV accredited by a university or an accredited university. You can switch to the student plan. Sign in to your Hulu account and then go here and click “GET OFFER” to apply student discount rates to your existing Hulu subscription with advertising.
The plan includes the new Hulu See Party feature, which allows subscribers to view and chat about content in groups of up to eight people. For more information on how it works and how to set it up, check out this Lifehacker post.

You can’t pretend to be a student
It’s a open secret that people use their .edu email account to qualify for student discounts years after graduating from college, but Hulu is checking your status. In collaboration with the SheerID Party Poop Verification Service, you will need to provide the name of your college or university. For Hulu:
Offer valid for new and existing subscribers with Hulu invoices enrolled in a college or university accredited in the United States with Title IV that meets the verification requirements. Verification performed using SheerID; enrollment information (e.g., first name, last name, college / university name, date of birth) must be shared with SheerID to verify this. Automatic verification is performed annually.
If the last time you went to college was during the Obama administration, you seem unlucky.
