Google’s monthly Android update for the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A5G on Verizon has been delayed by a week for the second month in a row. While all other Google phones received the Android update last December, Google’s new phones on Verizon should see the same update starting today.
RQ1A.201205.008 (pixel 5) and RQ1D.201205.012.
It may be a December security update, but don’t forget that this will also be the December pixel feature drop. So Verizon Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A5G owners not only get new protection, but also a long list of new features.
Your Google Pixel phones now have additional editing options for Google Photos, new GPS location upgrades, adaptive sound, adaptive charging, adaptive battery playlist feature, new icon formats and wallpaper options and more.
To check for an update, go to Settings> System> Advanced> System Update.
