Luis Muñoz Rivera Avenue in Old San Juan will be temporarily closed from today, Friday, at 3:00 pm until tomorrow at 8:00 pm as part of the security measures for the taking of possession of Pedro Pierluisi.

The event will be tomorrow at 10:00 am in front of the Capitol. The obstruction will begin on Reverend Gerardo Dávila Street to the Olympic House.

Similarly, Avinguda Constitución from Reverend Gerardo Dávila Street will be closed until Saturday at 3:00 pm

Visitors, non-residents and traders who need to get to the Old San Juan area will have Fernández Joncs Avenue as an alternative route. While residents and traders will be able to use Train Street to reach their respective destinations.

For his part, Lieutenant Elvis Zeno, Director of Police Traffic, told this medium that the Uniformed will take control of traffic on the 2 Brothers Bridge from this afternoon at 4 p.m.

Zeno added that Passeig Covadonga will be closed and there will be a detour along Carrer General Esteves.
