Getafe vs Valencia From the Champions to the fight against relegation

It has been a quick relegation for Los Che, who played in the Champions League last season. They are also still technically the defenders of the King’s Cup.
During his post-match interview at Coliseum Alfonso PérezGabriel, who was a member of that King’s Cup winning team, was asked if the club had stopped playing Champions League football to fight relegation.
“It’s a scandalous thing,” Gabriel said through tears.
“A club as big as Valencia and hearing that is a nuisance.
“But we have to get out of this because we are Valencians and the club deserves more.”
After leaving the interview station, Gabriel stood by the playing field with his head buried in his shirt.
