Guatemalan media claim the presidents would have met on a yacht with foreigners
A publication of the Guatemalan media “Soy502”, picked up by El Periódico of the same country, talk about a meeting on a yacht, which would have taken place in Guatemala in 2020, in which the presidents of this country, Alejandro Giammattei, and Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele.
According to the publication, a total of ten investors with Russian-Israeli nationality arrived in Guatemala at this time and visited a mountainous area of Alta Verapaz and then moved to Port Castilla in the Atlantic where they would have taken a can at the naval base to the private yacht.
“In the boat, the publication adds, the Russian-Israelis held a private meeting with senior officials from Guatemala and El Salvador, which may have been attended by Giammattei and Nayib Bukele,” according to the publication of El Periódico .

The case has become relevant in Guatemala, as Giammattei has been reported by the Soy502 medium for having received money from Russian investors in exchange for a project precisely in the Port of Castile, where all the container traffic of this nation arrives.
“The said gift was allegedly delivered to the agent at home in zone 15 of the capital, in order to obtain a concession of land in the port of Santo Tomás de Castilla. The presidency has denied the facts,” reports the media El Newspaper.
President Bukele reacted on his Twitter account to the publication of El Periódico and rejected the information.
“The last time I saw the president of Guatemala was at a public event in El Salvador, before the pandemic started,” Bukele posted.

I invite you to take it next time. shorts and some good pupusas hahaha. The lie shines, while the truth prevails. Greetings President Bukele “.
Soy502 claims that Russian citizen Alexander Vasiayev was in charge of handing over “the carpet of money” to President Giammattei, but a Guatemalan would have been the liaison.
