Girl walks miles in the snow to take dog to vet

The love between a dog and a human is infinite, as demonstrated by Cemre, a 9-year-old girl who he walked more than two miles to take on his back, called Pamuk, to the vet. But the task was not easy, since the snow invaded in the last days the zone where it lives: Düzpelit, a town of Turkey in which there are no veterinarians, this forces its inhabitants to move until Twin, the central city of the province.

However, in the girl’s ears came the news that a vet, Ogün Öztürk, he was on a farm near the area due to a medical emergency. The specialist pointed to the site The Dodo who had received a call in the morning from a farmer to ask him to go to his field to take care of a cow that was ill.

Upon learning that a veterinarian was a few miles from his home, Cemre did not hesitate to camine on the snow with his dog on his back to take him to this place.

For a few days, Pamuk was ill, as she kept scratching, although it was not a serious case, the girl realized that she had to receive treatment, so she decided to take him to the vet for be calmer.

“Veterinary Brother”

Ogün Öztürk had no intention of visiting any other home, so after caring for the cow, he began storing his belongings in his car. Within minutes of finishing, the vet heard the girl’s voice.

“I heard a voice in the distance saying, ‘Veterinarian brother’ (…) When I first saw them, I was very surprised and moved. She had wrapped her dog and carried it on my back. “, Said Ogün Öztürk.

The girl told him that her dog was sick, “that something was constantly biting her,” but she couldn’t go to the district center because of the snow. The vet examined Pamuk and gave him an injection of the parasites.

“I did all his exams, I had no health problems (…) He gave me a 7 lire, but I did not accept them,” said Öztürk, who days later returned to the region moved by the gesture of the girl, to whom to give gifts for her dog.
