Trainers can now take a glossy celeb special research search titled “Something is distracted by shine”. This search line time is not limited, but you should pick it up during the secrets of the Jungle event. Unlike previous specialty research stories, this one is narrated by Jesse and James.
Completing this research quest you will find a guaranteed glossy celeb. Anyone who is distracted by something glowing is free to participate.

Step 1
- 10 Pokemon → Ultra Balls Replace x10
- P10 Grass-Type Pokemon →Nusleaf Encounter

Tips and tricks
- Jesse and James will be appearing until December 25, when there will be a small event with enhanced looks of their meow balloon.
- You can get a Mow balloon approximately during the event
- Defeating 1 Mow Balloon Defeats Jesse or James 2X (because you fight them with 2 Mow Balloon)
- Mosi Lures attracts grass varieties if you don’t get anything in your play zone
- Incense can attract a random variety of Pokemon, which is always useful to complete specialized research stories
Storyline
Level 1
Jesse: Hey, James, did you hear that?
James: What is it, Jesse?
Jesse: Apparently, there is a mysterious Pokemon in a nearby forest!
James: Go!
Jesse: They say it’s a forest ranger or something like that.
James: Oh? Looks like Pokemon Bass will be happy to watch!
Jesse: It would be a pain, however, that part we don’t really know.
Level 2
James: Hmm, we can contact someone to help us!
Jesse: Yes… Who? Hey you! You must be the assistant who sent the pass! Yes, why would anyone else be out in the middle of nowhere?
James: Assistant? Oh! Of course! An assistant! After all, Boss has high expectations for us. Now that you are here, let’s get to work.
Jesse: Good job, baby! I can not believe you did!
