Gonzalez Bulldogs, Baylor Bears are in the top 25 of AP Men’s College Basketball; The first 5 remain unchanged

Gonzalez and the Baylor Associated Press headlined the unchanging top topic of the men’s college basketball poll, even though both have been sidelined by recent corona virus issues.

The top five teams finished in the latest 25 places on Monday, with Mark Fuse Bulldogs securing the top spot with 54 votes out of 62 first place. With Gonzalez in each of the four polls of the season2.

The Jacks have not played since falling to West Virginia on December 2 due to COVID-19 protocols, and five straight games have been canceled or postponed, including the December 5 match against Baylor. The Bears announced Saturday that they are well on their way to suspending team action.

Gonzalez had previously said he would suspend the race until Monday, and will face Iowa 3rd next Saturday at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Baylor will arrive in Kansas on the same day.
