Goodbye to the duke! Netflix has just confirmed at the hands of Lady Whistledown that actor-king Jean Page will not be in the second season of the hit series “Brigderton.”

The actor had a contract for only one season, so despite his popularity it was only stipulated that he participate only in the first installment.
This is sad news for fans of the series based on Julia Quinn’s books. Although several media outlets have noted that during the next chapters of the series reference will be made to the character, however, he will no longer appear on screen.
The second season of Bridgerton will be about finding a suitable marriage for Bridgerton’s older brother, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), as narrated in the second book in the series “The Viscount Who Loved Me.” Anthony’s love interest, Kate Sharma, will be played by Simone Ashley.
