Google is resurrecting the Nexus to cast a shadow on the iPhone 13 and promote the Pixel 6

Apple unveiled its new iPhone 13 on Tuesday, and of course, Android makers are taking a moment to have fun, especially Google, which is preparing for the launch of its own Pixel 6 flagship.

However, the company did not go through normal channels to provoke Apple about its new flagship. Instead, it looks like the company has revived its old one Google Nexus Twitter account with a simple tweet.

The tweet is notable because Google hasn’t been active on Nexus’ Twitter account for nearly four years, moving its hardware-related tweets to @MadeByGoogle account. And because the account is private, only those who follow it can see it.

Google has also updated the Pixel 6 homepage with a new image of its upcoming flagship. It shows the silver Pixel 6 Pro, which gives us the best screen image of the device.

That said, Google wasn’t the only company to mock Apple. The makers of some of the best Android phones also had their time. OnePlus joined by highlighting one of the most common phrases uttered every time a new iPhone is launched:

Of course, we can follow all the features that the iPhone stole from Android, but unfortunately we don’t have them all day.

Samsung also intervened and mocked the relatively unaltered design of the new iPhone 13, highlighting its latest folding as the Galaxy Z Fold 3:

While it is rumored that Apple is working on a folding device, experts say we shouldn’t expect it until at least 2023, while Samsung will continue to dominate this market.

The new models of the iPhone 13 include the new A15 Bionic chip, brighter screens with 20% smaller notches and 120Hz dynamic refresh rates, improved cameras for better video recording and low light, batteries longer lasting and higher storage levels.
