WB Games Montreal has been pretty quiet about its upcoming version of Knights of Gotham since it was revealed earlier this year, but now new information related to cosmetics has emerged. While it occurs in a fairly roundabout way, it looks like players will be able to customize their different heroes in the game once 2021 arrives.
Shared on Twitter, WB Games Montreal developer Andy Gagnon showed off some new artwork they received from the development team as a Christmas present. The art specifically features Batgirl, Red Hood and Robin, each of which can be played inside Knights of Gotham. However, instead of presenting the defaults for these characters we’ve seen before, in particular Robin and Red Hood wear different outfits.
Little Red Riding Hood has just become part of the family.
Thanks @WBGamesMTL for the gift of early Christmas!

Although Gagnon has not stated this directly, this indicates points to Knights of Gotham allowing players to choose from a variety of different character skins in the game. Personalization is something we’ve known about Knights of Gotham in the past, but so far we have not received a solid idea of what some of these alternative costumes might look like. Assuming this art looks like some of the different skins that will be in the final product, this is our best joke so far.
Gagnon goes on to specifically state that these images do not contain any other specific suggestions or mockery regarding the content that might be in the game. In particular, each piece of art contains some figures that lie in the background, but Gagnon points out that these are simply the other heroes of the game.
Knights of Gotham is available for an undetermined date in 2021 and will be playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. To keep up to date with all of our game coverage as we arrive upon your arrival, you can follow it right here.
