A “superspreader” Santa has been accused of infecting a corona virus in a nursing home.
Authorities in Antwerp, Mole, are investigating after a positive test on several residents of a Hemelrijk residence. COVID-19, Followed by a Christmas Visit from someone dressed as St. Nicholas.

Care Home staff believed the visit would boost morale among residents, and said Santa was not feeling well before the visit.
Reports indicate that patients are only suffering from mild to moderate symptoms.
In a statement to local media, Mol municipal officials said Father Christmas “visited various communal areas, such as the sitting room.”
“He kept his distance from the residents and covered his face. The residents also wore face masks,” the statement added.
