It seems that golf legend Greg Norman is definitely leaving the United States to return to his former lands in Australia.
Known as the great professional golf white shark, Norman and his wife, Kiki, have found a buyer for their $ 40 million Colorado ranch, according to The Post.
Sources say the sale is expected to end in the coming weeks, just a month after the businessman and golfer found a buyer of his $ 60 million Florida precinct he built from the beginning.
And Norman, 66, will reap a strong profit from the sale. He bought Meeker Ranch, Colorado, in 2004 for $ 9.5 million.
The Post has contacted its representatives to comment.
Norman put the house on the market for $ 55 million in 2016, but significantly lowered the price, by $ 15 million. Still, that leaves him with a whopping $ 30 million in profits.
Set on 11,900 acres of land, the lodge consists of eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
He has been described as “one of the best trophy hunting and fishing ranches in Colorado.”
The property, called “Seven Lakes Ranch”, is used as a sports paradise.
The house is located in the long-awaited White River Valley of the Flat Tops Mountains and offers panoramic views of nature and wildlife.
In addition to the 13,907-square-foot lodge, a variety of cabins and a lounge / ballroom offer accommodation to many guests.
On March 14, his wife, 52, reported on the disappearance of his longtime home in Florida.
“Our dear Shark Shack. Boy will we miss him. I hope to recreate it someday soon in Oz. 🇦🇺 Designed with ❤️ by #theNormanDesignGroup, ”he wrote in the title.
In a January column in Stellar magazine, Norman explained how he was preparing to return to his home state, Queensland, Australia.
“I miss Australia. I miss the way it sounds. Not long ago, I was on the phone with my parents and the sounds of bird life in the background were something else.
“And the smell of Australia … is so clean and fresh. I love coffee and I miss people; they are so easy to make … I want to get back to Australia as soon as I can. To tell you the truth, I think about coming home every two days. ”
In 2019, he told the Daily Telegraph he was looking for the Down Under property.
“Yes, we are (looking). I’d rather not say where we’re looking and no, we haven’t bought anything. “
Norman spent 331 weeks as the world’s number one golfer in the 1980s and 1990s. He has won 89 professional tournaments, including 20 PGA Tour tournaments and two major: the 1986 and 1993 Open Championships.
The move to sell both U.S. properties continued its battle with COVID-19 in December.
“I’m fit and I’m strong and I have a great tolerance for pain, but this virus kicked me out of shit like nothing I’ve ever experienced,” Norman wrote on Instagram.
