Mexico City /
Guillermo “Pol” Fernández announced that it will not continue in Boca Juniors and as soon as his contractual relationship ends in the next few days, he will take a flight back to Mexico to report with Cruz Azul, a club with which he will analyze what will happen to his career.
The midfielder was known for about a month he was not on the technician’s planes xeneize, Miguel Ángel Russo, so he began negotiating his return to La Noria, where he had his doors open.
“If I didn’t express myself so far, it’s because I respect and understand that my teammates are playing important things. I will not continue in my country”Fernández wrote on his social media a day before Boca faced Racing Club in the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores.
“Cruz Azul takes over possession; therefore, once I end my contract, I will return to Mexico to be able to resolve my future“, Added.
Fernandez distanced himself from the club because he made them see that I didn’t want to stay there, a decision that upset managers and led to solo training.
