Harris Teeter and Publix stores begin limiting store hours :: WRAL.com

Harris Teeter stores will close temporarily before Wednesday, Sept. 15, and Publix has already reduced its hours.

New Harris Teeter store schedule

Harris Teeter’s temporary store hours will be 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sept. 15, 2021, until further notice.

In addition, from September 15, the service counter of the fresh food market will close at 8 pm and all amenities will close at 7 pm

Butchers and fishermen market service counters will also close at 8 p.m.

According to Danna J. Robinson, communications manager at Harris Teeter, the changes are taking place “to focus on thorough cleaning, replenishment, staffing and the well-being of our valuable partners.”

The company statement also stated: “We believe that closing our stores sooner will allow our valuable partners to: take the days off earned; efficiently process ExpressLane orders; manage labor in this difficult work environment; ensure great closures to better prepare for the next day, and make sure our stores are a clean, safe place to work and shop. ”

Pharmacy hours Harris Teeter

Pharmacy hours will remain the same:

Monday to Friday: 9.00 am to 7.00 pm

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shopping schedule for seniors in Harris Teeter

The store continues to offer shopping hours for seniors every Monday and Thursday morning from 6 to 8 a.m. for shoppers 60 and older and other vulnerable populations. They have also designated ExpressLane online shopping pick-up times for seniors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Thursday. They waive the $ 4.95 fee and will offer a $ 5 delivery for seniors.

New time from the Publix store

Publix stores in the Triangle they have also begun to close earlier. Most stores now close at 9pm or 10pm.

An employee of a Raleigh Publix location indicated that this was a corporate decision based on the store’s traffic. WRAL has contacted the Publix corporate office for additional information and will be updated with any new information.
