Have no idea about your switch? Nintendo offers a free concierge service for new owners

Given that the Switch has sold nearly 80 million units, it is not a fact to believe that some players do not full up use of it. If you’re not so familiar with modern gaming, Nintendo has now launched a new service designed to make your life easier.

Calling it the “Nintendo Switch Concierge” program (currently only available in North America), it offers individual video meetings with a Nintendo representative. Best of all, it is completely free and the sessions are assigned in order of arrival and classification.

For now, Nintendo offers six 30-minute sessions, and you can book time slots in advance. These cover:

  • Customization
  • Games (Introduction)
  • Games (What to play next)
  • Nintendo account
  • Nintendo Switch 101
  • Security and privacy

Given Nintendo’s recent statements about boosting console sales, this seems like a new step in this word-of-mouth initiative, offering clear help to new customers. Switch Concierge will only be running until February 22, but if it succeeds, we won’t be surprised to see it expand.
