AT&T, owner of the WarnerMedia entertainment division that includes HBO Max along with the Warner Bros. movie studio, confirmed today in an Investor Day update posted on its website that an ad version of HBO Max will be released in June . The launch is also achieved with a much larger expansion of HBO Max: “AT&T expects to launch HBO Max in 60 markets outside the United States in 2021 (39 territories in Latin America and the Caribbean by the end of June and 21 territories in Europe in the second) mid-2021), ”explains the company’s strategy update.
