EL PAS, Texas – The Pas Public Health Department (DPH) and the Pas Fire Department (EPFD), in partnership with Abundant Church and local health organizations, will be holding a health and wellness fair this Sunday that comes, Sept. 19, at 1000 Valley Crest Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Health fairs will be offered at this fair, there will be information stops and references to other services. The free exams and services that will be offered are as follows:
- Blood pressure test
- Blood donations
- Examination of body mass index
- Rapid tests for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Pneumonia vaccines for people 65 years of age or older
- Herpes vaccines for people 50 years of age and older
- TDAP vaccines (tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough)
- dental examinations
- Glucose test
- EPFD will offer free flu shots to people 65 and older
- EPFD will offer free COVID-19 vaccines for people over 12 years of age
The DPH will also offer services that include vaccines and dental care for children and adolescents. To receive any of these services it is necessary to register in advance by calling the following telephone numbers:

Other health organizations that will offer free services are Southwest Texas Insurance, Digestive Health Education, DOTerra Essential Oils, Superior Health, American Heart Association, Smile Magic, among others.
