The Department of Health (DS) reported today, Saturday, 10 additional deaths from Covid-19 in its daily report, adding up to a total of 1,771 fatalities from the virus on the island since the start of the pandemic. The 10 dead are between the ages of 61 and 96 years old.
In addition, the DS reported on 1605 new positive cases in Covid-19, for samples taken between January 7 and January 21 this year. Of this total new cases, 687 are confirmed by molecular testing, 164 are probable cases by antigen testing, and the remaining 754 cases are suspicious.
