Health reports 11 additional deaths from COVID in Puerto Rico

The coronavirus, COVID-19, continues to affect people in Puerto Rico, reporting hundreds of cases daily, deaths and hospitalizations.

According to the report of the Department of Health, with the information to date, 11 additional deaths are reported, reaching 2,995 deaths in total.

The daily cases detected with molecular tests, reached the totality of 146,027 with the 219, on average, identified until yesterday. With that of antigens, about 134 cases were identified raising the total Accumulated to 30,301.

In the case of hospitalizations, the total number of COVID patients on the island is 373, with 349 adults and 24 minors. There are 108 patients in intensive care, 106 adults and two pediatric cases.

In relation to the deaths, the most affected region was Bayamón reporting four of the 11 deaths, followed by the metropolitan with three, Caguas with two, and Arecibo and Mayagüez with one.
