About 10 people died from causes related to VOCID-19 and another 410 were infected, the Department of Health reported today, Saturday.
The agency’s report covers the period from 5 to 19 August.
On the deaths, these are two men and two women aged 56 to 93 from the Bayamón region; a 74-year-old woman from the Caguas region; a 51-year-old woman who does not live in Puerto Rico; a 59-year-old woman from the Mayagüez region; two 63- and 75-year-old men from the metropolitan area and an 88-year-old man from the Ponce region.
According to the Health portal, about 482 adults remain hospitalized, as do another 49 minors, for a total of 531 hospitalizations.
Yesterday, Friday, that number was 509, 22 people less when compared to today.
Similarly, with one dose of the vaccine, there are at least 2,270,152 people. With the completed doses there are 1,961,602.
In total, the attributed deaths amount to 2,725 since the pandemic began.
