Healthy young people will be able to get vaccinated in May or June
Given the limited supply of Covid vaccines, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommends that Centers for Disease Control prioritize vaccination of high-risk groups first. This includes: health care providers, residential residents, the elderly, essential workers, and people with underlying health conditions that put them at increased risk for serious Covid disease.
As the supply of vaccines increases, ACIP will expand its recommendations.
