Hector Moreno, at risk of not renewing his contract with Al-Gharafa

BARCELONA – Héctor Moreno is not having his best moment in Qatar and his current club, Al-Gharafa SC, does not intend to execute the Mexican’s optional contract year, according to sources confirmed to ESPN.

The Mexican international came to Qatar football in 2019 from the Royal Society. He signed for two years, plus an additional one, the latter being at the expense of the performance in a matter of minutes offered in the current course and it seems that for a match his contract will not be automatically extended.

Sources familiar with the situation assured ESPN that the Qatari club does not seem to be very happy with Hector Moreno, who would receive the letter of freedom to seek a new opportunity in his career, which happened most of his time in football.
