Helen Mirren will present the Harry Potter: Hogwarts House Tournament on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the films
Now, Helen Mirren will love hosting the Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament Of Houses contest.
The 76-year-old English actress will help celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the magic franchise with the four-part competition announced earlier.
“I knew I would one day get a Harry Potter role and I’m very happy to be involved in the 20-year-old film celebration,” Mirren told The Hollywood Reporter.

“The films inspired so much charm and wonder for many of us, and it will be a pleasure to rekindle that magic for the countless fans who continue to delight in this fascinating world.”
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament Of Houses, which was announced in May, will air on Cartoon Network and TBS before heading to HBO Max.
The show will make HP fans fight each other for the coveted House Cup title.
A release date has yet to be announced, but we hope it coincides with the anniversary of the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which came out on November 4, 2001.

Production will be directed by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television, in association with Warner Horizon and old school Robin Ashbrook and Yasmin Shackleton.
“We’re creating a stage for Harry Potter film fan leagues to flex their knowledge of the world of wizards, and there’s no one better than Dame Helen Mirren to add a bit of British grandeur to this event that will debut through of our WarnerMedia brands and platforms, ”said Tom Ascheim, president of Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults and Classics.
This is not the only new Potter-related piece in the works, according to THR.
In January, the release reported that HBO Max was working on a live Harry Potter television series.

Things were still in the early stages, according to sources, who said the studio was “kept in multiple conversations with potential writers exploring various ideas that would bring the prized property to television.”
The report also revealed: “Sources say broad ideas have been discussed as part of the exploratory meetings in the early stages.”
But if there’s an HP project, the creators keep their lips closed for now.
“There’s no Harry Potter series in development in the studio or on the broadcast platform,” HBO Max and Warner Bros. told THR in January.
