In that dark, dark time I fell in love with before The Wizard 3, I asked you all help me finish it. You gave me good advice that changed my gaming life. I am here today to ask you for your help oncAgain, with Empty knight.
Everyone loves it Empty knight. I want to love Empty knight too! I recently started trying to play the game again (editor’s note: dear god “recently” it was January, what time is it), attracted by his fine art and intriguing mysteries, excited to welcome me to the couch with my Switch and explore a new world. What I have seen so far is so beautiful and interesting! But the game is like that very hard. It cost me ages win the first head-to-head fight against Hornet, and I’m sure it only gets harder from there.
Kotaku‘s advices, though useful, have not been enough to overcome my particular obstacle. The problem is, I really don’t like head fights. I tend to get frustrated i put a game with them to spend the night, and then I struggle to get back into the game because I know I have a brawl of heads waiting for me. I know a lot of people like fights against bosses and I’m not against them for some moral reason. But orTo solve the puzzle of how to beat a boss, I find it tedious to really do it and it makes me excited determination of “one more attempt!” it quickly gives way to annoyance. I find it especially difficult inside Empty knight, where I can lose all my gathered geo currency if I get angry without recovering it. Trust me, I wish I wasn’t, but you have to touch your hand ‘re treated.
I’m currently somewhere in the mushroom residue, where, if I remember correctly, I fell through some problem areas due to my terrible platform skills and the bewildered Joy-Con that I refuse to replace. (Either one of the problems really is my Joy-Con or if only the fault of my video game failures have been one of the enduring questions of my quarantine game.) I suspect there’s a boss hiding nearby and I’m sure he’ll destroy me, but I haven’t worked hard yet to start the game and check it out.
I wonder a lot if maybe Empty knight it’s just not for me, especially because of my aversion to head games. Bthen I see someone talking about it and sucking me again. Surely many of you know the secret to falling in love Empty knight. Thanks in advance for tackling the comments section for sharing this love with me.
