Henry Martin will start with Mexico against Wales

In the absence of Raul Jimenez, Henry Martin will lead the Tri attack in the friendly against Wales

The Mexican national football team completed another day of training in Cardiff with Raúl Jiménez exercising with the ball and with special protection in his head and all indications are that Henry Martín will start against Wales.

Jiménez has continued his rehabilitation work with the Mexican team according to the protocol he has with his club and although he has evolved favorably, it is more likely that he will not play again this season.

With one more practice to be held on Friday, Gerardo “Tata” Martino has been defining what would be the starting eleven to face Wales, where they would be Guillermo Ochoa in the goal, Luis “Chaka” Rodríguez, Nestor Araujo, Carlos Salcedo and Jesús Gallardo in the defensive line; the midfield would be composed of Edson Alvarez, Hector Herrera and Andres Guardado and in the attack, Jesus Manuel Corona and Hirving Lozano as ends and Henry Martin in point.

For the second meeting, changes would be made to match the largest number of items.

It is very likely that the Welsh team will not play with their best 11, as on Wednesday they started their participation in the European qualifiers with a defeat against Belgium and on Tuesday they will host the Czech Republic, the team that leads their group.
